Antonia is a writer and experienced wine professional living in Italy. It was her love of Italy from a young age and desire to embark on an Italian wine-focused path that led to her big move to Bologna in 2011 to pursue her MBA in Food & Wine at the University of Bologna.

For the last 14 years she has been tasting and sipping her way through the country, learning the ins and outs of Italian wine. Antonia has worked in various facets of the wine business, from wine retail, digital, wine education, content creation and translation, marketing and export, but she feels most inspired when discovering off the beaten path wine areas and native Italian grape varieties, learning about biodynamics, and connecting with grape growers and winemakers who work with intention and reverence for nature. She is a certified sommelier with the Associazione Italiana Sommelier and holds WSET certification. Her articles appear on Jancis Robinson’s website and The Vintner Project.

Curious about all things, Antonia is an avid learner, endless seeker, as well as an aspiring yogi and beginner meditator.
